Nia Archives

Drum & Bass

HEADLINER

Dehaney Nia Lishahn Hunt, known professionally as Nia Archives, is a record producer, DJ, singer, and songwriter born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, and currently based in London. She is widely recognized for spearheading a modern revival of jungle and drum and bass, blending heavy breakbeats with neo-soul vocals and deeply personal lyricism. Her breakout came through a series of self-released EPs on her own HIJINXX imprint, including "Headz Gone West" in 2021 and "Forbidden Feelingz" in 2022. In 2024, she released her Mercury Prize nominated debut album "Silence Is Loud" via Island Records, and she has recently collaborated with artists like CLIPZ and Fred again. A fixture on the global festival circuit, she has performed at major events like The Warehouse Project, Portola, and Summer Sonic, while also launching her own "Up Ya Archives" label and event series. Her aesthetic pairs the raw, chaotic energy of classic soundsystem culture with introspective songwriting, creating a distinct style she describes as emotional junglism.

BAMBII

Bass

BAMBII is a Toronto based DJ and producer whose work bridges the gap between Caribbean dancehall traditions and contemporary electronic club music. Her sound is characterized by high energy rhythms, warped vocal samples, and a synthesis of jungle, drum and bass, and UK garage. She gained significant recognition for her debut EP Infinity Club, which won the 2024 JUNO Award for Electronic Album of the Year. Beyond her studio output, she is known for her JERK event series, which fosters community and highlights artists from the Caribbean diaspora. She has performed at major international festivals including Primavera Sound, Glastonbury, and Afropunk. BAMBII stands out as a vital voice in the modern club landscape by rejecting rigid genre boundaries to create a fluid, inclusive, and deeply rhythmic sonic experience.
