Dr. Rubinstein, born Marina Rubinstein, is a Russian-born, Israeli-raised DJ and producer now based in Berlin, Germany. She rose to prominence through her electrifying, high-energy sets, characterized by a fierce dedication to vinyl and an impeccable selection of acid techno, breakbeat, and vintage rave tracks. Her sound, often described as hypnotic and raw, channels the pure energy of early rave culture, creating an ecstatic and unifying dancefloor experience. In 2024, she launched her own label, Uppers and Downers, releasing her debut EP, "Rubi's Acid Spa," which features her signature acid techno sound. A regular at Berlin's Berghain and ://about blank, she has also headlined major festivals globally, including Dekmantel, Melt!, and Sónar.
