Amsterdam-based DJ and organizer Jessey Voorn, known as MARRØN, crafts a rhythmic, punchy, and groovy techno sound deeply influenced by his Surinamese roots and early exposure to Afro Deep. He is a co-founder and resident of Eerste Communie, an Amsterdam event series dedicated to pure, community-driven techno experiences. MARRØN's sets are characterized by hypnotic, percussive beats and an atmospheric yet powerful drive, designed to keep dancers engaged for hours. He has performed at notable venues like Berghain and festivals such as XRDS and PLTFRM Forest Festival. Beyond the decks, he curates projects like "Curated By Marrøn" and recently presented UVÄLL's EP on Berlin imprint DIG Curated.
