1morning

Techno

HEADLINER

Emerging from the Los Angeles warehouse circuit, 1morning has established himself as a prominent voice in contemporary techno by channeling the raw intensity of the 1990s through a modern, vinyl-only lens. His production style is defined by rugged drum work, soulful grooves, and analog grit, often incorporating syncopated funk and hardgroove elements. Notable releases include the Modus Operandi EP on Fixed Rhythms and the 2025 EP Because I Told You So on Ilian Tape. He maintains a rigorous touring schedule with appearances at institutions such as Tresor, Blitz, and Draaimolen Festival, while frequently performing at New York City pillars like Nowadays and Basement. By prioritizing technical curation and a deep respect for dance music history, he offers a grounded alternative to the industry's trend-driven cycles.
