Dam Swindle

House

HEADLINER

Formed in 2011 by Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets, the Amsterdam based duo Dam Swindle has established a distinct footprint in the global house scene. Their production style bridges the gap between classic house, disco, and soul, often incorporating jazz and funk influences into club ready arrangements. They operate their own influential label, Heist Recordings, which serves as a platform for both established artists and emerging talent. Signature releases such as The Wrap Around from 2012 and The Break Up from 2013 remain staples in their sets, while their 2025 album Open showcases a broader exploration of ambient and synthwave textures. The pair maintains a rigorous touring schedule, performing as both DJs and a live act at major international clubs and festivals. Their work matters because they consistently balance a deep reverence for house music history with a forward looking, versatile approach to production and curation.

Mike Dunn

House

Mike Dunn is a Chicago house pioneer from the city's Englewood neighborhood, DJing and producing since the mid-1980s. He came up spinning disco, funk, and prototype house at block parties alongside originators like Ron Hardy and Larry Heard, and released his debut 'Dance You Mutha' on Westbrook Records in 1987. As MD X-Spress he cut the enduring anthem 'God Made Me Phunky', later reissued on Defected Records, and built a catalog of acid, hip-house, and vocal-driven Chicago tracks. A member of the Chosen Few DJs, he has played Panorama Bar, Fabric, Boiler Room Chicago, Glastonbury, and Electric Forest, and tours with Defected, Classic Music Company, and Glitterbox. He runs his own Blackball Muzik label and remains one of house music's most quotable, old-school voices.

Cosmo

(1)

House

Cosmo feels like a true local selector in the way her sets prioritize groove, warmth, and real dancefloor flow over anything flashy or overthought. There is a classic New York quality to how she plays, pulling from house, soulful rhythms, acid, hip-hop, and deeper club sounds in a way that feels effortless rather than forced. What makes her land is that the taste feels genuine. The sets are usually rooted in strong musical instinct, deep cuts, and the kind of pacing that comes from actually understanding a room. In the NYC circuit, she reads as the kind of DJ people trust for a set that is soulful, grounded, and properly plugged into the city’s underground.
