Griffin Maxwell Brooks

House

NYC-based DJ and club kid Griffin Maxwell Brooks threads house, techno, and electro into high-energy, vocal-splashed sets. 2025 originals and edits like “xtc,” “Vamp (GMB Edit),” and “Addison in Berlin // FiaG GMB Remix” sharpen a warehouse-ready sound built on big hooks and cheeky attitude. Their filmed mixes for Book Club Radio have become calling cards in New York’s underground, alongside a standout Valentine’s set at Good Room’s Bad Room. Recent radio highlights include a b2b session with sim0ne on Rinse FM, underscoring a rising profile across queer nightlife and fashion-forward club spaces.

ARCHANGEL

Techno

ARCHANGEL feels like a real product of New York’s current club underground in the sense that the project is not built around one neat genre lane so much as a specific kind of queer, high-intensity dancefloor energy. As a resident and curator with Body Hack, plus ties to The Lot Radio and Ice Cream Social, she is clearly embedded in the city’s more community-driven nightlife circuits rather than just passing through them. Her sets move from dreamy, textural openings into full-on club chaos, pulling from club music, bass pressure, ballroom-adjacent energy, and more genre-defiant turns in a way that feels scene-rooted and very body-first. The appeal is that she reads less like a polished brand project and more like a true local force whose credibility comes from the rooms, parties, and communities she is actually helping shape.
