Detox Unit

Bass

HEADLINER

Detox Unit is the project of Denver producer Joseph Roberts, a central figure in North America's experimental bass scene. His sound fuses meticulous sound design with breakbeats, hip-hop swing, halftime rhythms and heavyweight dubstep, built for large sound systems. He has released a deep catalog including the albums The Abyss, Deviate and Liminal, alongside a steady run of remixes and the ongoing Recent Works series, with early support from the Street Ritual label and his own imprint. Detox Unit is a fixture on the United States festival and bass-music circuit and returned in 2026 with the single Detonator. His precise, low-end-focused productions have made him a touchstone for the modern American bass underground.

Resonant Language

Bass

Resonant Language is an electronic producer working in the left-field, psychedelic corners of bass music. His productions weave liquid textures and intricate synthesis through halftime rhythms, breaks, two-step, garage and IDM, favoring deep sub frequencies and glitchy detail over brute force. Releases have appeared through labels including Addictech Records and the water-themed Aquatic Collective, among them the Nautiloid EP. He has performed at Colorado's Sonic Bloom festival and Denver's Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom, threading fluid, off-kilter transitions into immersive live sets. His meticulous, omni-tempo approach has built a devoted following across the underground bass community.

Schmoop

Bass

Schmoop is the project of Houston producer Will Russek, working in the electronic and bass music landscape. His sound fuses gritty bass, glitchy textures and infectious boom-bap beats, drawing on downtempo, glitch hop, jungle and drum and bass, with roots in the pixelated soundscapes of early video games. Releases include the EPs Afterglow, Collapse and Focal Point, plus the collaborative favorite Gnomad with Jade Cicada, and he is one half of the duo Wonky Llama. Schmoop performs across the United States bass circuit and shares bills with Jade Cicada and Mickman, including a booking at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. His blend of low-end weight and hip-hop groove has carved out a distinct niche in the American bass scene.
