Damian Lazarus

House

HEADLINER

Damian Lazarus is one of those rare figures in electronic music whose influence comes as much from curation and world-building as it does from DJing itself. Musically, he moves through house, techno, psychedelic grooves, and more mystical, leftfield territory, but what really defines him is mood: his sets feel ceremonial, transportive, and a little unhinged in the right way, less like straightforward club programming and more like being pulled into a full environment. A huge part of his reputation comes from everything he built around the music, Crosstown Rebels, plus events like Get Lost, Rebel Rave, and Day Zero, all of which helped shape a more cosmopolitan, hedonistic, spiritually charged corner of underground dance culture. He is not the kind of artist people talk about only in terms of tracks or genre tags. The real appeal is that he has spent years acting as a tastemaker, connector, and architect of experiences, which is why he still carries that mix of underground credibility, Ibiza-season power, and broader scene influence.

Maceo Plex

Melodic Techno

Maceo Plex is one of those artists whose appeal comes from how hard he is to pin down cleanly. Underneath the name is Eric Estornel, who has also worked as Maetrik and Mariel Ito, and that range says a lot about the music itself: house, techno, electro, melodic tension, darker futurist textures, all filtered through a very distinct sense of atmosphere. What has always made him stand out is that even when the records are sleek and driving, there is usually something slightly alien, emotional, or off-center in them that keeps them from feeling like generic peak-time tools. He came up through the deeper end of tech house and techno, then grew into one of the defining global names in the more melodic, cinematic side of club music, all while keeping enough edge to still feel credible to heads. A big part of his reputation also comes from the fact that his sets can move between hypnotic groove, big dramatic builds, and more leftfield electronic turns without losing coherence, which is why he has had such lasting pull everywhere from Ibiza institutions to darker warehouse circuits.
