Book Club Radio is a Brooklyn-based music collective, party series, and YouTube platform founded in 2023 by siblings Tinzo and Jojo Lorenzo alongside their friends. What began as friends gathering to dance developed into themed, invite-only parties built around a shared approach to nightlife. Its Librarian’s Manifesto encourages guests to put their phones away, embrace unfamiliar sounds, and face one another on the dance floor. House anchors much of its programming, while guest selectors bring different musical perspectives to each gathering. Detailed settings, costumes, and cinematic recordings give the parties distinct identities, with filmed DJ sets extending the experience to listeners beyond New York. The project has also expanded into an annual festival, bringing its community-focused approach to larger spaces without abandoning its phone-free dance floors.
