Insomniac is a dance music promoter and festival producer founded by Pasquale Rotella and based in Los Angeles. Its flagship event, Electric Daisy Carnival, began in 1997 as a Los Angeles warehouse party and grew into a multi day festival, with the Las Vegas edition the largest of its editions. The company also runs the Wonderland family of festivals, including Beyond Wonderland, Nocturnal Wonderland and Escape, and produces club nights and touring shows across the United States. Its programming covers the mainstage end of electronic dance music alongside house, techno and bass. Insomniac operates at national scale rather than as a local New York City party series.
