His influential discography includes the seminal Cybotron track Clear from 1982 and the foundational Model 500 release No UFOs from 1985 on his own Metroplex label. Atkins continues to perform globally, maintaining a career that bridges early electro-funk roots with sophisticated, futuristic techno production. His sound is characterized by hypnotic, machine-like precision, deep atmospheric textures, and a persistent commitment to futuristic sonic exploration.
