Bass and global-club marathon, nonstop from night into day

Nowadays hands its Nonstop to Planet Groovy, the GROOVY GROOVY series taking over for a marathon that runs from Saturday night deep into Sunday. KATA opens with a wide-ranging set moving from syncopated percussion to soulful R&B and drum and bass. Jamaican experimentalist Gavsborg covers the midnight hours with leftfield dancehall and world percussion, before Swiss producer NVST, Uruguayan club deconstructor Lechuga Zafiro and house selectors Akanbi and Baalti carry the night forward. DJ Noir and DJ SWISHA close it out back to back through the daytime hours. The bill spans bass, dub, global club and experimental rhythms across a single unbroken session.
